.**Job Summary**The GM Sales department is looking for a **Sales Engineer**. This position is responsible to analyze and quote the preliminary engineering changes for current and new harnesses and to follow up all the activities to obtain the target or best OI on each case and support the Account Manager and DRE's.**Role**- Analyze and prepare Engineering change quotations (CRs) to obtain the specified OI target.- Capture profit opportunities when applicable.- Validate BOM cost.- Validate CR associated costs.- Prepare preliminary quotation (ECRs).- Prepare board tooling and component tooling cost quotations.- Meet customer turnaround expectations for quoting engineering changes.- Lead the cross functional team to ensure costs are input to the CR in timely manner.- Ensure investment quoted on changes is accurate and that customer required detail is submitted on time so that tooling can be invoiced.- Support Account Manager in the audit of tooling, equipment, and expense costs on engineering changes.- Support the Account Manager on the creation of AR's- Support the Account Manager on account cash collection when needed.- Maintain an updated CR and ECR tracker including Part List for the programs assigned.- Support the Account Manager on keeping the harness volumes updated on GSD.- Request the cost for new components and keep cost source records.- Attend Engineering Change meetings if necessary.- Sign off and approve CR's on e-change (price analysis and Sales Disposition)- Support DRE on all engineering changes when needed.- Track Revenue enhancement.**Position Background**- High level of English proficiency is a must (80% or higher).- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar.- 3 + years of experience in product engineering/assembly processes/Manufacturing engineering/ Process Engineering/etc.- E-Change knowledge.- Must have valid Visa and passport.- Work with multiple departments to develop the projects assigned.- Prior experience in Engineering: Application engineering, Manufacturing engineering, Process Engineering, etc.- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently.- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.- Knowledge in Microsoft office**Traits we seek**- Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn continuously, clearly establish expectations and work as team members for achieving results, as well as developing and executing strategic plans.- Embrace resilience - seeing every challenge as a learning opportunity and invitation to grow.- Multifunctional comfortable to follow up several projects at the same time.- Supports and exemplifies APTIV values and commitment to SAFETY, quality and cost with a great sense of ownership, teamwork, and communication among all levels of administration.Aptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer
