We are currently recruiting for a **Sales Executive **in Hermosillo on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Manager of Sales, this role will be responsible for
**Responsibilities**
- Selling pulses and specialty crops from GFI's origins, with an emphasis on products originated from GFI's farm-based procurement in Canada, the US and Mexico.
- Develops and maintain a portfolio of revenue-generated clients - cold calling is essential; Strong networking skills and regularly follow-ups with potential clients.
- Build and uphold strong relationships with new & existing clients and providing excellent customer service.
- Keeping an up-to-date knowledge of the markets to ensure real-time price discovery.
- Ability to analyze market research, identify trends, and risk management strategies.
- Analyze markets & Monitor market trends to capitalize on purchasing and sales opportunities to maximize profitability.
- Strong team player, working with other traders on execution, contributing to fostering a positive work culture and experience.
- Knowing the specifics of current inventory, including expected deliveries
- Assisting management with planning and budgeting
- Travelling for trade shows, conferences and other events
- Other responsibilities as required or assigned
**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience and knowledge in International sales and trade
- Agricultural commodities/Pulses trading experience is an asset
- Fluency in English is required
- Post-secondary education in business or similar field
- Flexible to work accordingly to different time zones
- Reliable, ethical and professional
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to develop effective working relationships
- Able to work independently, within company policies and guidelines
- Performance-driven
