The Sales Manager would be responsible for leading the sales teams to reach sales growth goals. These goals include, but are not limited to, base business sales growth, territory/regional sales growth and professional growth such as training and team building exercises. The Sales Manager will be tasked with hiring and training team members, evaluate sales performance metrics using real-time data and develop processes and strategies that drive sales growth. Regional and International travel is expected for various customer and company management related interactions.**Responsibilities**- Set product sales growth goals and continuously monitor, evaluate and adjust the strategy to meet these goals.- Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them- Diligently monitor AP/AR and profit margins. Be prepared to discuss cash flow and its relation to imported/exported goods and potential best practices to support positive cash flow.- Review and analyze sales and operational records and reports; use data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts- Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members- Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment- Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed- Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs- Resolve customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies- Acts as company representative at trade association meetings- Recruit, hire, and train sales team and staff- Perform other duties as assigned**Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field or comparable record of sales leadership experience required- 3 years of experience in sales required- Fluent in English required- Strong oral and written communication skills- Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills- Excellent leadership skills- Experience setting sales goals- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office**Additional Requirements**- Basic understanding of an ERP software system and reporting capabilities and/or digilitent focus to learn and understand an ERP software and Business Intelligence reporting software for sales reporting.- Self-starting, motivated individual focused on real time data and sales growth results and strategies.- Willingness to learn and understand equipment operation and customer benefits/ROI's.- A motivational leader with a Winning attitudePay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per month
