Job SummaryAchieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands Avantors customer base and ensure its strong presence. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while beilly aware of new products and competition status. Establish sales objectives recasting and developing annual sales quotas. Project expected sales volume and profr existing and new products. Manages a team within a discipline or department, typically comprised of career/intermediate professionals or Supervisors.MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)Create and carry out sales plans to achieve sales goals.Hire, train, and supervise all sales reps.Manage the ongoing performance of each sales rep. Provide corrective action as needed.With the Country Manager, develop the sales operational budget.Assess all ongoing market research and competitive analysis and adjust selling tactics as needed.Negotiate contracts and pricir key Mexican customersmunicate via reports and presentations all sales results to company manager.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Importante empresa and Certifications)Business or Science degree preferredProven leadership experience3 to 5 years outside sales experienceExperienced in establishing high level customer relationshipsExperienced in account development and implementationKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)Strong industry knowledgeStrong negotiation skillsGood presentation skillsGood communication skillsAble to prioritize and manage multiple tasksGood interpersonal skillsProblem solving skillsStrong customcusAbility to managedirect reportsEnglish %ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions)Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.Work assignments are diversified. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problemsequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis.Minimal physical effort is required.
