Main Responsibilities: Execute sales strategy, plan, and realize sales forecast and business plan within the area of responsibility in consideration of overall regional sales strategy in agreement with the superior. Realize defined sales and gross margin targets within the area of responsibility with dedicated OFC teams to improve market share and introduce best practices to maximize customer satisfaction. Ensure cooperation and teamwork with technology to establish customer OFC teams to develop innovative products and services and provide best-in-class customer service and solutions. Observe and analyze markets, competitors, and customers to develop and implement measures in agreement with marketing to improve sales performance. Cooperate with marketing and SCM within the yearly planning process for products, volumes, and prices in agreement with superior, sales team, and BU technology. Manage accounts and negotiate and maintain contracts within authority considering defined guidelines and margins to maximize revenues and achieve sales targets. Provide timely and qualitative support to key accounts (International and Regional) to maintain high sales productivity, pricing policy, and optimal level of service. Manage customer claims with the dedicated customer OFC teams to provide optimized sales and technical solutions and maximize customer satisfaction. Implement marketing concepts, introduce new products, and define and provide, with the OFC teams, customized solutions and proposals to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. Collect information on local industry issues and cooperate with local industry associations, authorities, etc., as required to expand the network and industrial influence. Report on sales activities to superior and initiate and implement measures in case of deviations. Establish sales budget with superior and customer OFC resources to ensure growth and profitability in the defined country/area in accordance with Regional/BU strategy. Lead and motivate sales force and customer AMS teams to improve personal and BU performance and continuously develop professional expertise. Support development of country/area sales objectives and plans as well as market analysis and research. Support product development process through market and customer input. To be successful in the position you will need: Related university degree or long-term commercial practices. Minimum 6 years of sales/commercial experience in the chemical industry or packaging industry. Fluent English. Focus on achieving objectives. Customer orientation. Strong negotiation skills.
