About Us About the Opportunity Discova is looking for a Sales Representative Leader for Cancun.
As a member of the sales team, Sales Representative Leader will function at both strategic and operational levels, executing the fulfillment and operations strategies with all customer facing functions, teams and support team.
They lead a high performing team who focuses on consistently exceeding our customers and business partners expectations and in return delivering great results in line with country strategies as well as running their branch with efficiency and accuracy.
Key responsibilities Resolve customer service issues to customer's satisfaction with appropriate corrective and preventive measures. Establish and maintain relationships with local hoteliers, excursion agents and travel companies. Focus sales strategies on selling Discova own operated tour first. Ensuring welcome packs, company branding, and other collateral is in line with one best way and presentable to our customers. Coach the team to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets as directed by the Host Team Leader. Assist in training and support of new Hosts Financial reports to be sent daily to the In Destination Area Leader. Report back to Operations and Product if any health and safety issues or standard breaches. Daily and weekly tracking of individual sales targets. Granted access to BI IDS report. Lead by example in behavior, attitude, and performance. Give clear and timely feedback (1X1). Solid knowledge of corporate and local etiquette. Train and guide team members to take ownership of their work through. appropriate delegations and trainings. Solid knowledge of the travel market and associated impacts. Numerical skills: Ability to evaluate and analyze the offer of customers or that offered by a competitor. Create an environment where people feel supported, connected, and empowered. Set goals/deadlines daily and work to achieve and exceed these goals/deadlines. Encourage and help team members to solve their own problems. A full job description, including further key responsibilities, will be shared with interested applicants. Experience: A degree in tourism and hospitality is an advantage. Minimum of 3 years' experience in leading high performing teams in the relevant field. Fluent in both written and spoken English is required.
