The Role We are looking for a new member to join our sales team during an exciting period of growth – someone who can balance compassion and commercial outcomes, delivering market-leading service to every customer.
Our sales support advisers are at the forefront of our customer journey – the voice our plan holders hear from the first interaction, all the way through to a post-sale catch up. As our newest adviser, you'll treat prospective plan holders with compassion and respect, whilst they navigate the challenges of later-life planning.
Key duties include: Making outbound calls to potential customers who have enquired about our services.Acting as first point of contact for Inbound calls for both Pre-Paid and At Need enquiries.Managing leads from enquiry to sale.Providing all customers with correct and relevant information regarding the various funeral products and plans we offer.Understanding the customer's demands and needs, tailoring your approach to deliver the best options for the customer.Complying with all industry codes of practice and FCA regulations.Communicating effectively with Vulnerable Customers.Identifying appropriate cross-sell and up-sell opportunities in line with the customer's later-life planning. To be successful in this role you will have: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional attention to detail.Empathy and confidence when dealing with sensitive situations and Vulnerable Customers.Proficiency using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Strong organisation skills and self-motivation.A strong team spirit – everyone matters. This role would suit people who have previous experience in a B2C sales environment, or those with experience in customer-facing roles such as hospitality or leisure.
We would also be keen to speak to those with experience working in later-life settings such as funeral care, adult social care or estate planning.
