In this position you have the opportunity to play a vital role helping our experienced sales team reach their customers and meet customer needs.About the roleThe Sales Support Assistant provides valuable administrative support to the HE Americas Sales Team to help the sales reps sell both courseware and academic texts. In addition, you will be required to work on projects at the direction of the HE Sales Support Manager.As Sales Support Assistant you will:Maintain and update information in our customer relationship management system and other sales systems (e.G., data entry).Support the HE sales representatives in the field.Work with other departments to obtain product information.Attend in-house meetings in the US and UK, and other duties as required.Assist faculty with requests and troubleshooting.Additional Tasks include:Assist faculty with instructor materials.Send follow-up emails to faculty.Work with editorial and authors regarding leads that they supply and other requests.Collaborate with colleagues from around the globe.About youWe seek a highly motivated individual to join our Higher Education Sales team that has the following essential experience, skills and qualifications:Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Fluent in English and Spanish—written and oral.Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams.Detail-oriented.Comfortable working with databases and researching.Flexible approach to work.An understanding of the customer.Good time-management skills.Excellent communication skills.Critical thinking and problem-solving.BA/BS or equivalent work experience.Desirable:Educated to degree level or above.Prior knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, and database programs.Analytics and creative skills.Commercial awareness.Direct experience of, or qualification in publishing.Knowledge of textbook publishing.Rewards and benefitsWe will support you to be at your best in work and to live well outside of it.
