We're hiring: SAP ABAP Development // Advanced English level
**Education:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Information Technology, Data Science or similar.
- +5 years of proven experience as ABAP Developer.
- Experience in at least one full life cycle SAP implementation.
- SAP ABAP Certification is a plus.
- Advanced English is required.
**Work experience:
- 5 or more years of demonstrated success in the specialized technical area.
- 5 or more years of experience working with international teams.
- 5 or more years of participation in projects and initiatives.
**Responsibility of the profile:
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs based on specifications provided by functional consultants and business users.
- Work closely with functional teams to understand business processes and requirements.
- Perform technical design, development, testing, and debugging of SAP modules and programs.
- Assist functional teams during testing phases to resolve issues and ensure functionality meets requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and project planning.
- Performing unit testing, debugging code, and fixing bugs. Ensure that the program is functioning correctly before it's deployed to production.
- Improving the performance of existing programs. This involves analyzing program run times and optimizing code to improve efficiency.
**Knowledge:
- ABAP Programming: Proficiency in ABAP Workbench tools (ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Editor, SmartForms, ALV Reports, etc.)
- SAP Modules: Familiarity with the functionality and table structures of SAP modules like MM, PP, SD, QM, etc.
- Performance Tuning: Ability to perform performance tuning to improve efficiency and reduce runtime.
- Enhancements and Modifications: Experience with user exits, BADI, BAPI, Enhancement Spots, and implicit and explicit enhancements.
- Forms and Reports: Expertise in creating/modifying SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Interactive Reports.
- Data Migration: Experience with data migration tools such as LSMW and BDC.
- Debugging: Proficiency in debugging ABAP code.
- Integration Technologies: Understanding of ALE, IDOC, EDI, RFC, and other SAP integration technologies.
- Web Technologies: Experience with web technologies like Web Dynpro, Fiori, UI5 is a plus.
- SAP HANA: Knowledge of ABAP development for SAP HANA, including the use of new database features (e.g., CDS views) is a plus.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- SAP S/4HANA: Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Attention to detail and quality orientation.
- ABAP objects, procedural and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge about Data Dictionary.
