SAP BO Developer job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand Stakeholder Requirements and overall product architecture of
Cash Management Products
- Assist with effort estimates for new reports and/or enhancements to existing
reports
- Design, implement, test assigned reports and integrate with components
developed by other team members
- Resolve problems arising during various phases of the development
- Create proof of concepts (PoCs) to validate design assumptions
- Contribute to Software Development process improvement activities
- Customer training
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in Computer Science or related discipline
- 2+ years of experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server) technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for
delivering high quality software
- Experience with Report Development Tools:
- SAP Business Objects (required)
- BIRT (nice to have)
- Version control (TFS DevOps)
- Experience with industry standard version control and defect management
tools
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong object-oriented analysis, design and development skills
- Good understanding of software development methodologies
- Able to focus on key deliverables in a fast-paced development environment
- A self-starter who can co-ordinate with a team, yet work independently
towards a common goal
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Must conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times
- Generates enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit and support of company
objectives
- Utilizes sound judgment in dealing with business information
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined
- Flexibility to work long hours as necessary
- Ability to handle high pressure in a professional manner
