Job Details:Job Description:As an SAP Data Volume Management Specialist, you will be responsible for creating archiving policies, configuring, and deploying archiving solutions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data volume management strategies, policies, and processes.Key Responsibilities:Configure and implement data archiving strategies to move inactive or historical data from the operational database to archival storage, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.Define data retention policies and schedules to manage the lifecycle of data within SAP systems, including data aging, purging, and deletion.Design and implement data partitioning strategies to distribute data across multiple storage devices or servers, based on business requirements.Monitor and analyze data volume trends, system performance metrics, and storage utilization to identify optimization opportunities and mitigate risks.Collaborate with SAP Basis, ABAP development, and functional teams to ensure data volume management solutions align with business requirements and technical standards.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.3-5 years of experience in SAP analysis, configuration, and deployment.In-depth knowledge of SAP data archiving tools and techniques, such as SAP Data Archiving, SAP Information Lifecycle Management (SAP ILM), and SAP Data Volume Management (DVM).Strong understanding of SAP database technologies (e.G., SAP HANA, SAP ASE, SAP MaxDB) and storage solutions.Proficiency in SQL scripting.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.Relocation Assistance Eligible: YesWork Shift: Hourly Applicants ONLY - You must complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.Tyson is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
