Job DescriptionThe HR technical consultant primary responsibility will involve the design and development of SAP HR applications. Techno Functional leadership, and guidance in design and implementation of configurations, customization, enhancements and changes to meet evolving business requirements.
Roles and Responsibility Creates and changes SAP HR application with the specified SAP HR development guidelines.Collaborates with IT Architects & IT Consultants in virtual teams on the delivery of IT Product and Solution functionalitiesAnalyzes, develops and implements code that satisfies respective design requirementsUtilizes relevant coding techniques and standards as defined by Customer, IT Architects, PSO and Solution ManagerParticipates in tier 3 support activities including incident management and the assessment and delivery of upgrades and patchesProvides continuity with IT Product/Solution and infrastructure management operational groups during service transitionPerforms unit tests to ensure quality (incl. execution of test plans, debugging and subsequent fixes)Assist in the design and development of proof of concept and prototype Solution /IT Product environmentsDocuments specifications and supports the creation of operational support manuals during the technical implementationPerforms detailed activity task management including task estimates and task progress updatesDevelops and maintains SAP HR code repositories according to established version management approaches and methods in alignment with Product Development ManagersWork as HR Development consultant and support technical activities.Interact with HR customer in defining and finalizing the HR business requirements from technical perspectiveQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar areasAdditional InformationMinimum of 5 years of SAP ABAP application developmentMinimum of 3 years of experience developing ABAP applications for SAP HR/HCM processesHands-on experience in Data Migration and Interfaces using EDI, ALE and IDocHands-on experience in developing UI5 and FIORI based applicationsStrong knowledge of OOP and its main principlesWorking knowledge of all RICEF concepts (Reports, Interfaces, BDCs, Enhancements/Exits, Smart Forms)Hands-on experience on ABAP HR– Creation and Modification of Info types, LDB and ClustersExposure to WorkDay would be an added advantageExperience in interfaces (HCP, Success Factors & On-Premise)Worked or knowledge of Workflows – Creation and Modification
