**About the Team**
We live to serve our colleagues by providing support to anyone in AstraZeneca that is willing to innovate and explore new solutions.
We partner with our IT colleagues in the Business Facing Groups (BTGs) and across all of AZ IT to deliver to their needs. We have teams in our Global Technology Centres in Chennai and Guadalajara, plus across Europe and America which provide a close working partnership where needed.
**The Main Responsibilities**
- Own the project from Initiate to Close
- Create and maintain Project plans and any required trackers (e.g. financial)
- Ensure Project risks and issues are managed appropriate to their potential impact
- Ensure project documentation is kept in the appropriate repository
- Ensure project is compliant with all AZ and that appropriate Governance is in place
- Ensure delivery of the project to time, cost and quality requirements, escalating issues where appropriate
- Ensure contracts are in place for all Supplier delivered work and that value for AZ is achieved
**Requirements**:
+ 3 years of relevant SAP experience in the IT industry or +3 years of relevant experience as Project Manager.
- Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain.
- Excellent customer facing and internal communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior IT and business colleagues.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Experience in regulated environments and specific knowledge of GXP and SOX requirements.
- Experience working in a globally distributed team within a matrix structure.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint.
- Experience of working with internal and third party suppliers.
- Financial Competence. Proven skills in managing and controlling project budgets
- Able to travel to support project release management work (majority of work is at base location, but must be prepared to travel regionally and occasionally globally as required)

- Exposure to Agile, Lean & Six Sigma Skills
- SAP Active Certification
- Project Management (PMP) Certification
