This partnership is simplifying and accelerating the market adoption of microgrids, offering an innovative outcome-based alternatir building owners and operators who want sustainable, cost-effective, resilient, onsite energy delivered to them hassle-free as a service by specialists with no upfront capital expenses or operational risks.
GreenStruxures core technology integrates hardware and software components of microgrids that need to be constructed to deliver this energy-as-a-service to customers.
The GreenStruxure Offer & Capabilities team oversees development and validation of:

The Systems that will be built to produce and deliver energy on customer premises, 2.
The Tools that are used to ensure thenancial viability, 3.
The Asset Under Management deployed to operate and maintain them, 4.
The Energy management implemented to manage them aseet.
These systems will be based on various combinations of generation aexibility assets in microgrids behind the meter, cloud connectivity, edge controls and power management.
A suitable design of these assets shall be made to enable the offer creation, support the specific opportunities and ensure a reliable and profitable installation, diminishing the O& M costs During the offerdevelopment phase, the technical knowledge of the assets and how to integrate them efficiently together ndamental.
It is also key that all assumptions made during this phased can llowed up efficiently and implemented during construction and operations.
The principal Electrical engineer will be responsibr the design and engineering of the electrical infrastructure of the microgrid, and the interconnection to the existing electrical system behind the meter of tcility.
This position will coordinate the local engineering team in Monterrey as well, acting as engineering coordinator.
Primary Responsibilities related to electrical engineering activities are:
Develop Electrical design and construction standards based on the latest safety and reliability industry practices Manage Technical Standarr electrical systems Conduct detailed engineering reviews ensuring project requirements are met and to achieve cost-effective.
Provide Technical support to the Project Execution, Interconnection, Project Development teams and interact with purchasingdepartment to evaluate life-cycle cost and technology robustness.
Provide technical support throughout the whole lifecycle of the offer and projects.
Develop and maintain site assessment protocols Design the electrical infrastructure of the microgrid, including:
DC electrical system of the PV Plant, DC protections, AC system, AC protections, and grounding system as part of the integration of Distributed Energy Resources within an Energy Control Center (where every microgrid asset is concentrated prior to the interconnection with the existicility).
Create Utility Interconnection drawings meeting the requiremenom the different Utilities.
Create Bid Drawings, Permit Drawings, Construction Drawings, and Record Drawings.
Conduct engineering reviews at various stages of the engineering design process with key stakeholder approvals.
Create Demolition plans, Witness Test Plans, and Shutdown Plar facility tie-in events.
Review and management of submittal drawings with equipment vendors and in close coordination with trade workers.
Negotiate technical specifications and requirements with the electrical equipment OEMs.
Create technical documentation, specifications, operating procedures and troubleshooting support.
Design resiliency optior each specific customer, including moving loeders, controls, retrofitting, developing a Sequence of Operations, etc Develop short-circuiult current studies, protection coordination, and specify other studies requirr specific customer sites Lead the investigation of systilures, and integraedback into design and construction standarllow technology advancements, code and policy changes, and safety and reliability practices Some of the main responsibilities related to coordination activities are:
Maintain and monitor engineering activities and progress trackers, project plans, and project schedules Coordinate with Project Construction Team and engineering and studies providers.
Organize, attend and participate in all stakeholder meetings and distribute minutes to all stakeholders.
Document allow up on important actions and decisioom meetingle and document control of engineering documents Assist procurement team with all necessary technical inputs cilitate procurement of equipment and hiring of rnal engineering consultants and subcontractors Support the implementation of design services during construction procedures including requesr information, shop/submittal drawing reviews, non-conformance report resolution and design changes during construction Assist with overall project closeout, including coordination with all consultants to provide completion documents and As-Built and Record Drawings, engineering deficiency corrections, maintaining aling all close out documents He/She will report to the Technical Engineering VP.
