We are currently looking for a
**SCM Analyst 1 **to join our team in Nissan Aftersales.
**Job functions include but are not limited to**:
- Daily collaboration with suppliers to ensure timely shipment of open orders, obtaining ETA information for escalated situations, expediting critical parts to resolve backorder situations, etc.
- Collaborates with team leaders to identify solutions to supplier challenges
- Monitors demand trends and analyzes requirements. Forecasts maintenance, demand management, and replenishment of orders
- Interfaces with related departments to solve purchasing, technical, accounting, and shipping issues.
- Administers the supplier penalty process based on actions made by the supplier that are non-compliant to Nissan guidelines
- Administers the distribution of the supplier scorecard which reflects various performance indicators by the supplier in accordance of the Nissan policy
- Administers the ordering process for specified commodities for our dealers and export customers (Batteries, Keys, Campaign related, etc.)
- Administers process that creates special orders to support internal Nissan requests for special circumstances
- Updates databases and provide reports to leadership in regards to Nissan critical backorders
- Work with North American suppliers and Nissan affiliates to resolve any open invoice payment discrepancies
**Minimal Qualifications**:
Job Knowledge and Skill:
- Good English interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to interface with management
- Ability to communicate and negotiate with suppliers
- Basic understanding of principles, concepts, practices, and standards related to supply and demand
**Experience**:
- Experience using MRP or other dynamic inventory control systems (1-3 years)
- Background in master scheduling, engineering change control, statistical analysis, inventory control systems, obsolescence control, and familiarity with purchasing systems
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university plus a minimum two years of directly related professional experience in supply chain/inventory control functions
Computer Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Inventory Control and Forecast Planning Tools
Travel:
- Ability to travel locally and internationally up to 20%
