Scm Project Leader

Eaton's ES AMER PCS PCD division is currently seeking a SCM Project Leader.

**What you'll do**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTION**

Support the launch of new products as related to SCM. This role will drive communication and reporting to allow the business to successfully meet the vitality goals of the division, maximize return on capital invested, and meet other business KPIs. This includes working with all applicable SCM and engineering functions to coordinate new product launches.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Coordinate with IT, Engineering and SCM the setup of new products, suppliers and processes.
- Improve SCM processes related to product setup and NPI
- Drive continuous improvement within the ProLaunch process
- Create standard work and processes for new product creation as it relates to SCM
- Ensure new product introductions meet their launch dates and cost targets as applicable to sourcing
- Understand the best manufacturing method for the new product being launched
- Provide multiple different suppliers to support SCM resiliency
- Align with commodity managers on key suppliers for new products and categories
- Track and own the resiliency targets for the Bussmann division and coordinate projects with other project managers to meet the resiliency goals.

**Qualifications**:
**SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE**:

- MRP knowledge system (SAP).
- Communications skills to work with people at all levels internally and externally in English and Spanish
- Basic knowledge of production process and manufacturing.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple functions to achieve an outcome
