Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a SCM Sourcing Lead.
**What you'll do**:
Primary Function:
Lead and Support initiatives for PRD plants including Cost Out, Capacity and Resiliency Projects
Support monthly COP & Resiliency meetings with updates from Sourcing or Cost Out Projects
Lead and Support with GPO team vendor selection, establish payment terms, negotiate contracts, review regulatory compliance, conduct business analysis, and promote source council process.
Develop and align Strategy Implent5ation 3-5 years for the sourcing / procurement function of the Product Line and or Category assigned
Assure communication and Liaison with corporate Category Managers keep at all times.
- Essential Functions:
- Identify, initiate, qualify and manage sourcing activities for PRD plants, including but not limited for cost reduction, supplier rationalization, consolidation or resource to other approved vendors who can offer operational benefits without compromising quality or delivery.
- Responsible to create initial supplier profile for potential suppliers can support localization or resiliency projects.
- Keep open and clear communication and relationship across internal functional areas and suppliers.
- Participate and Lead Cost Out Ideas Generation events to always keep healthy cost out project pipeline (2x mínimal of PP commitments)
- Handover of projects to Purchasing area at the plant
- Communicate Supplier Performance when necessary.
- Constantly Run Assessments to keep Risk Management updated for the suppliers assigned.
- Document RFQ/RFP for all assigned projects
- Category and/or Product Line Supply Base Analysis
**Qualifications**:
- Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- Above 3 years of experience in SCM related activities
- Familiar with ISO9000/14000 or IATF Quality Systems
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Strong Problem Solving skill
- String Communication
- String Negotiation Skills
- Good command of verbal and written English
