**About this opportunity**

The **Scoping** **Construction Manager**is responsible for identifying all technical aspects of the telecommunications equipment to be scoped for a deployment at assigned job/sites and is the decision maker on all issues falling under the position's scope. Ensuring the appropriateness of the site for deployment, reviewing construction drawing, installation documents and customer requirements and identifying all work types and work packages. Responsible for creating and documenting the Scope of Work (SOW) and the Bill of Material (BOM) that will be provided to Ericsson stakeholders to be used as the basis for site the build plan and materials procurement. This will be accomplished via site walks, desk top documentation review and review of aerial imagery. The SOW will be created by the Scoping CM using the appropriate Ericsson tools for approval and communication to other stakeholders

**What you will do**

Develop and document a comprehensive per site SOW and BOM which will include identification of all work types, drivers, fixed price packages and equipment & material requirements

1. Understanding the site technical solution and SOW contracted by the customer, including work packages, material requirements and final deliverables to customer

2. Understand the SOW, drivers and fixed price packages between Ericsson and its Service Providers

3. Understanding Cell Site Construction Drawings, Radio Design Frequency Sheet (RFDS), Structural Design Elements and Structural Modification requirements

Evaluate the job/site scope, RFDS, CDs to settle document accuracy and construction feasibility and whether it is appropriate for the customer's requirements and provide feedback to SAQ, A&E and RF

Build the per site SOW and BOM in the Ericsson Site Rollout tool (ESR) by deciding on the step-by-step methodology building to the structural design, construction drawings and RFDS

Add Services Drivers to BOM in ESR

Plan and adjust schedules, as necessary, and work with Customer Project Manager, Market CMs and Service Providers on any needed changes to the scope, including recommendations

Participate in project planning meetings, providing guidance, as needed, and figuring out resolutions to any problems or issues raised during plan of day meetings

Create build plan - day by day CX plan including outage durations and cycle time

Identify and document potential site safety hazards

Identify and track Scoping/BOM status in Ericsson tools

Review SOW and BOM with SPs and agree on BOM and Service Drivers

2. Work with Supply chain and Practice Area SMEs regarding customer equipment and material requirements and ensure DPLs are updated.

3. Preparing various reports, analyses and presentations as necessary, including (but not limited to) status reports on progress and, if any problems, then recommended manner of handling the problem

4. Validate additional material requests and create applicable supplemental BOMs in ESR if vital and coordinate with CPM and LMs.

**You will bring**
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience of 2-5 years industry experience
- Experience managing delivering cell site construction and technology upgrades
- Experience with providing site design solutions and guidance of order of operations
- Ability to review construction documents, settling site feasibility, as well as site design consulting as needed
- Ensure accuracy of constructions drawings and RFDS meeting scoping requirements
- Direct knowledge of general construction processes & procedures and on-site safety requirements
- Direct knowledge of cell site construction and equipment installation material requirements
- Direct knowledge of cell site structural design and modification requirements
- Experience in construction scope estimation, leading and directing general contractors, generating bill of materials, etc. (Civils, Ground, L&A, Backhaul, MW)
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting practices and techniques, including sweep testing concepts.
- Basic knowledge of contracts (leasing, vendor facing, customer facing)
