#WelcomeToCognizant!We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Srum Master**What you'll do**:- Providing rigor for all Agile ceremonies, including quality of story production and effective retrospec-tives while having a constant focus on improving the team.- Ensure there is full comprehension by the technical teams of all product stories during scoping and ideation phases.- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised with an emphasis on consist-ently improving and problem-solving- Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments- Use expert agile knowledge to use skillfully existing tools and practices for software development- Help the product and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework- Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity- Support the product owner and provide education where needed- Act as trusted representative for the team in committees, coordinate with IT colleagues from other teams and are SPOC for the product owner and release manager or other functions from the business- Deliver ongoing training for team, product owners, developers, and testers to consolidate and support future development of agile methodologies in the organization.
**Preferred experience**:- Bachelors Degree in any domain related- 5+ years IT experience as Scrum Master leading small-mid-sized projects and/or agile teams- Experience with agile methodology and product management- Ability to analyze and think quickly to resolve conflict- Ability to work with and lead a team- Proven ability to continually build job knowledge & skills- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (e.G.
