**Responsibilities**:
- Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example
- Should be able to organize and lead scrum ceremonies
- Guiding team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices
- Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to resolve pending issues.
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
- Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning or dictating the work.
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and information dissemination
- Assists in identification and implementation of short-term and long-term solution options, including risk assessments.
- Provides timely status updates for areas of individual responsibilities within projects to supervisor.
Actively participates in team and status meetings.
Participates in internal team and status meetings.
- Creates, reviews, and maintains all required Scrum artefacts
- May provide training to other staff on Agile/Scrum processes.
- Requires to be a good Team player, excellent time-management skills and interpersonal and communication skills
**What we look for/who would prosper in this role?
**
- Need to have a valid Scrum Master certification (CSM/PSM)
- Good working knowledge and experience on JIRA (or any other tool used in earlier projects)
- 5 to 8 years of Hands-on experience in working on Enterprise Application Integration Technologies
- Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Lean Thinking, Lean Start up, extreme Programming, SAFe, LeSS, Crystal, FDD etc
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
- Should be able to collaborate across Boundaries, Drive Results and Focus on Customers
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
