This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment.Summary: The Scrum Master performs a wide variety of scrum team-related duties for software development, team status monitoring, and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reporting. The Scrum Master works closely with all Product Owners and other stakeholders to schedule and organize sprint ceremonies and team-related events. If selected, you will be working with talented global teams consisting of software, system, and test engineers. Aptiv develops cutting-edge advanced driver-assistance systems and user experience products which enhance vehicle safety.Responsibilities: Drive the team to embrace, adopt and apply agile principles, practices, and values.Monitor the team's progress towards goals by focusing on performance improvements.Lead the team in tracking and removing impediments.Lead team efforts in continuous improvement through effective retrospectives.Evaluate and assess the agile maturity of the team; coach team to higher levels.Build a trusting environment with a focus on problem-solving.Facilitate team meetings; daily stand-up, iteration and sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.Aid with communication, improving transparency.Provide guidance to Product Owner and team on maintaining backlog and sprint planning.Provide support and coach the team on effective work breakdown, estimation, and planning.Facilitate preparation and readiness for Program Iteration (PI) planning and follow-up.Ensure strong collaboration with Scrum Coordinators and Software Quality Assurance.Must Haves (Basic Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related field of study).At least 6 months of work experience in Automotive Industry or Consumer Electronics.Bilingual – proficient in English speaking/reading/writing.Interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive approach to challenges.Cross-functional interests, ambitious and self-driven.
