SCHERDEL is strongly value driven and has a long track record of caring for our associates in many ways.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:- Build and maintain a positive culture of participation in EH&S throughout the site.- Ensure compliance with all environmental and safety legislation.- Ensure strategies are holistic and address long-term environmental sustainability, workplace conditions, management systems and behaviors.- Maintain an effective EH&S management system for the site.- Determines safety training requirements and provides employees with safety training applicable to their work processes- Develops recommendations and follow-up to prevent accident and/or fire recurrence- Conducts safety audits of facilities, equipment, and work in progress to ensure compliance with safety/fire safety standards and specifications and safety/fire safety equipment are in working condition**Position Requirements**:- Experience in similar position.- Depth knowledege regarding legal requirements.- Lead projects to improve EHS at the company.**Competencies**:- Fluent English.- Works independently..- Intercultural empathy and good communication skills**BENEFITS**:BenefitBenefitBenefitBenefit
