Sea Freight Operations Lead

Responsibilities & what we are looking forPosition Overview:
Lead the Import/Export Sea team in all operational disciplines and ensure functional excellence, high productivity, and customer satisfaction, including supporting current customer portfolio growth.

Location: Querétaro, México (on-site)

Key Responsibilities: Maintain and grow business within their customer portfolio.Engage with regular and potential customers to generate additional or new business.Maintain daily contact with current customers, agents, and colleagues.Correlate and report department figures and profits to management monthly.Maintain communication between overseas offices and agents.Handle shipments for Key Account.Create rate quotes and bookings per customer requests.Work with LEMAN pricing tools to research net freight rates to quote overseas agents, offices, and customers.Update and follow customer profile instructions keeping them current.Confirm all customer contacts are accurately registered in CRM.Accurately invoice both customers and agents.Ensure LEMAN receives correct and timely billings from vendors and agents.Escalate customer complaints to branch management and commercial owner.Perform other duties as assigned. Experience: Minimum 5 years' previous freight forwarding customer service.AES/EAR/TSA knowledge and experience, a plus.Knowledge of DG requirements/pharma trade, a plus.High school diploma, required.Associate degree in Business, Logistics, or similar, a plus.
