A Seamstress will also be required to liaise with laundry suppliers and ensure a uniform deposit system is in place.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Check uniforms for cleanliness and condition, carrying out minor repair work, if requiredAlter uniforms to fit team members where requiredEnsure support is provided to the laundry function when requiredComplete wash cycles, folding of linen and correct storageRepair guests items as requiredProvide valet service to guestsLiaise with laundry suppliers and dry cleaners on the cleaning of uniformsAssist new staff with uniforms, ensuring correct paperwork in placeEnsure uniform deposit system in place with FinanceEnsure outgoing uniform is controlled, including new and current team membersCarry out uniform stock takes as requestedEnsure par stocks are maintainedEnsure soiled and damaged linen is stored in soiled bags and disposed of correctlyMaintain linen room and uniform storeReport maintenance and hazard issuesComply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislationWhat are we looking for?A Seamstress serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
