Secondary English Teacher

The ELA Teacher would teach our Junior High and High School English Language Arts classes. This teacher will also take on routine responsibilities common to all PCS teaching staff, including overseeing study halls, attending staff meetings, and chapel.
Qualifications: An enthusiastic, authentic, and vibrant Christian faithA theological compatibility with PCS's Statement of Faith (must agree and sign)Fluency in written and spoken EnglishA passionate commitment to K-12 educationDemonstrated leadership ability in an educational or other non-profit settingAn ability to command the respect of all the school's constituencies, especially the students and their parents, the teachers and staff, and the boardPreferred Requirements: State teaching license or ACSI CertificationAt least 3 years' experience teaching Jr. High/High School studentsProfessional experience in a cross-cultural educational settingConversational Spanish would be an advantage.
