Requisition ID: 34578- Job Location(s): Apodaca, MXThe Security Coordinator is responsible for the management and operation of security personnel, surveillance camera system, identify potential internal & external hazards to evaluate the risks; Collaborates as a team with other areas to take preventive actions to avoid possible security incidents that may affect our organization, operation and personnel, also participates actively to maintain our OEA certification.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible of the Security Team performance, ensuring the security protection and level service for the related areas to ensure the operation complying according security standards and procedures.
- Ensure a proper collaboration as a team with all related areas to OEA certification and active participation to ensure the compliance and re-certification for our site and operation.
- Ensure to understand and have knowledge of all our operations and installations to performs Risk Assessments with multidicplinary teams to determine the risk level according security hazards and prioritize to determine and implement action plans to reduce the risk and avoid possible security incidents in our operations
- Performs in preventive way investigations of suspicious behaviors or situations to avoid security incidents, also performs in a corrective way investigations when an incident or situation is reported/ocurred in our operations to find evidence and after works with the responsible areas to determine root-cause and corrective/preventive actions to avoid a reocurrence.
- Reports Security incidents and assure proper investigation, follow up and closure.
- Performs daily gembas and also internal audits to ensure the security compliance according procedures in our operation
- Implementation of projects in collaboration with other areas that may include infrestructure, technology and administrative controls to ensure improvements or proper compliance with security controls
- Establish strong relations with internal stakeholders, external committees, neighborhood companies and if possible with local/government security corporations
**Background & Skills**:
- Relevant Bachelor's or master's degree combined with a minimum of 5 years' professional experience
- Personal management.
- Knowledge in Security Technologies (CCTV, Access Controls, etc.)
- Ability to understand/interpret data and prepare reports.
- Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, individually, in groups and across cultures.
- You are a self-starter with a high commitment and a can-do attitude, and not afraid of handling conflicts and following up on activities.
