Covia is looking for a dynamic **Security Coordinator** who will have a positive impact on the Covia legal team at its Monterrey Office Location

**The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities**:

- Development of prevention and awareness strategies.
- Responsible for following up with incidents within the facilities.
- Implement the security model cross the company
- Audit of security internal processes and procedures.
- Active participation in brigades and security talks.
- Ensures that security training to existing personnel is given.
- Coordinate with local authorities' issues related with the security of Covia Facilities
- Coordinate surveillance services.
- Implement improvement projects.
- Adapt and implement the emergency response plan for each of the plants.
- Follow-up of the security measures adopted and audit compliance.
- Liaison with federal, state, and local authorities regarding security.
- Inspect, manage, coordinate services and material and human resources to prevent and intervene.
**The successful incumbent will have the following Minimum Qualifications**:

- Professional degree in criminology or related fields
- 10 years of proven experience in Security.
- Master in security is a plus.
- Experience in monitoring and satellite tracking.
- Experience in creating and implementing security protocols.
Appetite towards learning and training.
- Action oriented and result oriented individual with business understanding.
- Self-driven and hands on approach.
- Effective communication skills.
- Results and people oriented.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
