Only applications of candidates with Mexican citizenship will be evaluated for this role in compliance with the provisions of Article 7 of the Federal Labor Law.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.5 years of experience as a technical security professional.2 years of experience managing a team of engineering or security operations professionals for an organization.Experience with threat modeling.Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, holidays, and shift-based schedules as required.Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.Preferred Qualifications:5 years of technical experience as an individual contributor security professional.2 years of experience managing a team of engineering or security operations professionals for a distributed organization.About the JobIn this role, you will be conducting and leading others in security analysis, threat hunting, as well as malware and indicator analysis. You are responsible for handling all malicious activity on Google's networks. We perform deep analysis of threats on our enterprise, production, and cloud environments.You will manage a team responsible for intrusion detection and incident response. You will also be responsible for growing and developing talent while providing and setting direction for the team, and leading effectively.The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems.
