Do it here.***What you'll be doing...**Security is critical to our company's success. As part of our team, you will partner with customers, project managers and technical engineering teams to direct a broad range of corporate security initiatives, while participating in the planning, analyzing and implementation of solutions in support of Verizon's business objectives. Our security team works around the clock to provide a comprehensive enterprise-wide security program, using state-of-the-art technologies to defend against breaches and keep our networks reliable and secure.- Develop, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.- Identify and define logical and physical security requirements.- Develop, implement, and communicate information security standards, policies, procedures, and tests.- Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.- Develop technical solutions and new security tool requirements to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.- Provide technical and/or analytical support to solve a wide range of complex security issues/problems.- Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancements.- Conduct security verification & validation reviews to ensure the ongoing protection of Verizon assets and sensitive customer information - Perform phone, online, onsite, security logs and audio/video recordings analysis security verification & validation reviews to identify security risk and non-compliance areas.- Collaborate with peers, international counterparts, management and legal to identify areas of risk relative to Global projects and operations, and provide recommendations for controls to the same - Create security reports outlining identified "actual" security risk areas and non-compliance with strategic recommendations to management where appropriate.- Drive the mitigation of security related findings to ensure appropriate progress within recommended time frame.- Provide management periodic updates to senior management and/or Legal on varying topics of Security interest.This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.***What we're looking for...**You'll need to have:- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.- Four or more years of relevant work experience
