.This position is essential for maintaining the financial wellness and integrity of an organization.
The accounting manager will supervise the accounting department, prepare reports for company leads, and develop standards and processes for proper financial management.Key Responsibilities- Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports- Creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.- Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.- Advise colleagues and management on decisions related to the company's finances.- Internal control and SOX compliance.
Support costing activities- Coordination and supervision of the activities of the accounting closing of the month.- Revaluation of the exchange rate and accounting reserves at the end of the month.- Analysis, review and reconciliation of accounting balances for each of the items that make up the accounting balance.- Prepare financial reports including basic financial statements.- Review Actual vs. Forecast figures, load financial information in HFM and prepare information between USGAAP and MEXGAAP accounting regulations.- Reconciliation of intercompany transactions.- Review of Balance Sheet and Income Statement to ensure that the information has been prepared in accordance with accounting regulations.- Provide support and guidance to members of other teams regarding accounting transactions.- Review of variations of the items that make up the cost of operation.- Accounting of the pension plan and other retirement and indemnity liabilities.- Accounting for the valuation of derivative financial instruments.- Accounting of fixed assets.- Compliance on electronic accounting such as Treasury accounting, cash pooling, purchase and sale of foreign currency.What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree and Master's degree (preferred) in Finance and/or Accounting related.- 6+ relevan experience working across a subset of areas within a Finance Organization- CMA or CPA preferred- Experience in supervising a team- Bi-lingual in English & Spanish- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentKey Job Skills- Sound knowledge of Finance Practices to include Accounting GAAP requirements- Excellent business acumen and demonstrated competency in site and business partnership- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with management and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization- Effective verbal and written communication skills accompanied with cultural sensitivity- Excellent planning, co-ordination, and organizational skills- Judgment, initiative, and tenacity demonstrated in an environment of rapid change
