.**Senior Accountant Analyst****Who we are**At Aptar, we use insights, design, engineering and science to create innovative packaging technologies that build brand value for our customers, and, in turn, make a meaningful difference in the lives, looks, health and homes of people around the world.Every day, Aptar creates "a-ha moments" for its customers and their consumers and patients by continually bringing innovations to market that convert non-dispensing packaging into breakthrough product-dispensing systems, including those that give people more effective ways to put on their favorite fragrance, kids the opportunity to pour ketchup without making a mess and patients connected technologies that help them more easily adhere to treatment.We have manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe, Asia and South America and over 13,000 dedicated employees in some 20 countries.**What's new with Aptar**We have an exciting position open in Queretaro**:Senior Accounting Analyst **reports to _Accounting Coordinator of Shared Services of Latin America._This position is responsible for working with the Aptar entities to ensure that the region meets all reporting requirements in terms of time, quality, and accuracy, including closing processes on SAP, BPC, and the accounting reconciliation in Blackline system.Responsible to ensure that all Aptar policies and procedures are accomplished besides of adhering to Aptar's Code of Conduct.**Responsibilities**:- Ensure that all records, systems, controls and reports in the area are permanently updated, available and reconciled with accounting.- Ensure that accounting processes comply with Aptar's Accounting Policies and Procedures.- Share suggestions for improvements and assist in the implementation of new processes in the area.- Make sure that all manual journal entries have proper support documentation and obtain approvals whenever they are required; - Perform control of thereleases of Fixed Assets (additions, write-offs, transfers).- Perform updating, maintenance of all Lease contracts that fall under the US GAAP standard in the lease system.- Record, control and make accounting entries and reports in accordance with US GAAP accounting principles and conventions.- Respond to diverse demands of internal and external, providing proper documentation, attending meetings and supporting actions of related matters.- Perform the accounting reconciliations with the analytical composition of the accounts with proper support documentation and comments in the Blackline system.- Resolve issues that may arise on Balance Sheet accounting accounts by assigning accountable departments and escalating problems whenever it is found necessary.- Perform analysis of variances on Balance Sheet (Flux Analysis) and provide information and clarifications in a timely manner when requested.- Participate in projects and improvement programs that may have impacts in accounting
