.We are hiring a **Senior Accountant Analyst** who will be primarily responsible of the accounting function of the Steelcase manufacturing plants.**Primary Responsibilities**:- Manage daily accounting operations: Handle various ERP transactions including accruals, amortizations, reclassifications, and allocations.- Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations: Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.- Conduct Balance Sheet reviews and P&L trend analysis: Explain variance drivers and determine corrective actions as needed.- Execute month-end close processes: Support corporate reporting and statutory financial statement preparation for Mexico and US GAAP ledgers.- Support internal and external audits: Provide necessary documentation and respond to audit inquiries.- Contribute to the implementation of controls and process standardization: Improve efficiency and compliance.- Collaborate with plant finance operations teams: Enhance communication and coordination.- Respond to financial information requests from various stakeholders: Provide timely and accurate data as needed.**Who You Are**:**Required Skills and Competencies**- Bachelor's degree in accounting required.- Minimum of 3 years of applicable work experience.- Experience working within a Maquiladora environment, preferably.- Evidence of ability to speak and write in intermediate-advanced English.- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.**Preferred Skills and Competencies**- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP-system, preferred.- Ability to recognize and suggest opportunities for continuous process improvement and ability to interact with various levels of the organization to communicate problems and risks- Ability to work on a team and lead assigned areas; ability to meet time limits and proactively communicate issues as they arise- Technical Skills - Demonstrates detailed knowledge of accounting and experience in preparing financial analysis reports- Are you willing to learn office functions and knowledgeable of all assigned areas? strong business knowledge that can be adapted to various situations to enable problem-solving- Possesses a high degree of analytical skillset
