SPEA MEXICO, S. DE R.L. DE C.V, Subsidiary of SPEA S.p.A Group - worldwide leader in the design and implementation of testing systems for microchips and electronic boards - is looking for a Senior Accountant for its Juarez Office.Activity:Analyze and understand the business requirements in order to define the best solutions for supporting the business processes and drive them directly in respect of timeline and budget allocated. Budget performance reporting tools & processes acting as point of contact in the event of any query/issue;Day-by-Day support:Support the group and local teams in Monthly Closing, Budget and Forecast;Communicate business and financial results to the Local team and Group Finance in a timely, accurate and effective manner in accordance with the Group and Local procedures and rules;Lead the budgeting, forecasting and planning activities by working closely with the Group and Local Business Partner;Gap analysis with necessary proposals for corrections;Improve and maintain the Cost Accounting and Reporting System by leading the change management;Develop and maintain a robust Internal Control System that support business processes and communicate these within the Headquarter;Accounts payable& receivable journal entries (invoicing accounting, customer past due monitoring, supplier accounting, general ledger).At the beginning the accountant should support the External Consultant in these processes, but we expect in the future the accountant can manage them autonomously;Providing with timely and accuracy the Group and Statutory Reporting in compliance with the Local Rules;Import & Export process monitoring and supporting;Back-Office activities supply chain, purchasing, inventory management, administrative support to Local Manager;Functional skills:Hands-on experience as a General Ledger Accountant or Finance Controller in an Entity (Sales Office / Manufacturing), including exposure to Management Accounting;Strong skills in process description and report writing;Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Personal skills:Fluent in English (spoken and written)Proactive and independent self-starterStrong communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsEducation and Experience:University degree in economics / finance / accountingMinimal work experience:2 years as Senior Accountant / Controller in a Multinational or similar companyKnowledge of information system in general but specifically on Microsoft OfficeWork Place:Mexico Ciudad Juarez
