Senior Accountant

ProfileBachelor's degree in Accounting.5+ years of experience in a General Accountant position, preferably in a manufacturing company.Experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.KnowledgeStrong knowledge of Mexican and IFRS GAAP.Familiarity with balance sheets and profit & loss statements.Experience in fixed assets management (capitalization, retirement, depreciation, physical inventory, etc.).Control of inventories (standard cost, physical inventory, revaluation, reserves).Experience with balance sheet account reconciliations.Ability to attend audits with external firms and internal audits.Understanding of internal controls.Ability to identify and prioritize urgent requests.Self-management skills and capability to escalate problems to management.A team player, able to collaborate with colleagues both within and outside of the accounting department.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion is preferred.Advanced level of English proficiency.#J-18808-Ljbffr
