Be part of this exciting journey with us!The CandidateAs a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for supervising daily accounting operations, preparing detailed financial reports, and ensuring compliance with current fiscal and regulatory standards. You will work closely with various departments to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial data.The RoleAs Birdman's Accounting and Administration Manager, you will oversee and manage all accounting, reporting, fiscal, and administrative functions. You will ensure compliance with financial regulations, maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, and provide strategic financial guidance to the management team. Additionally, you will manage the administrative functions, including human resources, payroll, facilities management, and procurement.Responsibilities Oversee and supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing processes. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP). Financial Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of financial results to identify areas for improvement and provide strategic advice to senior management. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax obligations, including preparing and filing tax returns and managing tax audits. Process Optimization: Propose and lead improvements in accounting and financial processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as finance, operations, and legal to ensure alignment with the company's financial and strategic goals.Minimum Requirements:5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in medium or large-sized companies.Advanced knowledge of tax and regulatory frameworks in Mexico (and other countries if applicable).Proficiency in accounting software (ERP) and advanced Excel skills.Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements under IFRS or GAAP.Preferred Qualifications:Professional certification in accounting (CPA, Chartered Accountant, or similar).Previous experience managing internal and external audits.Proven leadership and team management skills.Ability to work in dynamic environments with tight deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
