Occasional travel to a physical office may be required to enhance working relationships, collaboration, design, strategy and alignment._**Job Description**:QAD is seeking a **Senior Accounting Analyst** who can, under moderate direction, provide accurate, consistent, timely and reliable financial information and analysis, while working with teams in the Americas.**What you'll do**:- Prepare and record asset, liability and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Includes tax, legal, professional fees, consulting, marketing and other services accruals at month-end.- Performs standard month-end account reconciliations such as bank reconciliations, prepaids & deposits, intangibles and liabilities.- Prepare standardized project and account trend analyses and provide explanations for variances or trends.- Assist with annual external audit and management's review questions.- Complete requested materials. Assist in preparing assigned schedules for the annual and interim audit.- Prepare Inter-Company load files for various activities such as cross charges, global services, personnel charges and interest.- Assist with testing and help enhance software functionality for system reports required for management, financial reporting and general ledger reconciliations.- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.- Contribute to department and organization special projects and other duties as assigned.**Qualifications**:- Education/Licenses: Bachelors of Science in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university.- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in accounting; public company experience preferred.- Computer skills: Intermediate to advanced MS Office, especially Excel; Gmail business app, Hyperion or similar reporting software. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of major accounting software for both general ledger and statutory accounting.- Other knowledge or skills: Strong research, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a multi-cultural, fast-paced environment. Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US and Mexico).
