The Senior Financial Analyst will be integral to the efficiency and accuracy of our financial operations, providing vital support during month-end and year-end close processes through meticulous journal entries, account reconciliations, and the preparation of financial statements for key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, organized professional committed to upholding the highest standards of accounting practices.ResponsibilitiesAccounting:Support the month-end and year-end accounting close process, including but not limited to preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesPrepare financial statements for dissemination to senior management, partners, and other third parties as neededReview international financial statements, intercompany, eliminations and consolidationsEnsure financial information and schedules are accurate and maintained in accordance with US GAAP, including knowledge of accounting principles and procedures under ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers, ASC 842 Leases, and ASC 350 Intangibles – Goodwill and OtherAdditional Responsibilities:Coordinate with external auditors for requests and inquiries Ensure controls are properly performed within the financial close process and financial reportingPerform various projects as neededMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field4+ years of relevant accounting experience working for US companyBilingual English/Business Spanish (written and verbal) in a business settingKnowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in US accountingHighly proficient in reading, writing, and speaking EnglishStrong Excel and other Microsoft skillsExperience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central software is a plus Deep analytical skills and attention to detail; able to multi-task on multiple projects with varying deadlinesStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
