Job DescriptionThe Senior Accounts Payable Technician challenge in a few words The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all vendor invoices are accurately recorded and paid on time, as well as maintaining accurate records in the company's accounting system. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal clients.
Your contribution in this role Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy of coding and data entryReview and reconcile vendor statements to ensure that all outstanding payments are accurateProcess payments to suppliersReview, register and reimburse employee's expense reportsRecord and reconcile transactions paid by corporate credit cardsAnalyze and solve problems related to supplier invoices and purchase ordersAnswer vendor inquiries and resolve any payment discrepanciesAssist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.QualificationsThe ideal candidate in a few words
• Diploma: University diploma or any other relevant education/experience mix.
• Experienced: 4 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Competent: Proficiency with Excel; Strong communicator; Proficiency with systems (ERP); Knowledge of Mexican and/or US sales taxes.
• Multilingual: Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Asset: Knowledge of D365 ERP; Canadian sales taxes; Project accounting; French language.
