Role Summary

Under the guidance of the Country Director, you will advise our client on overall delivery practices and structures, working closely with the relevant Regional Director and other in-country teams.
The focus of this role will be to identify, develop and implement strategic initiatives across the centre of government that are vital for public service delivery.
The Advisor/Senior Advisor will capitalise on the wide range of expertise and resources across TBI.
The role will require working closely with senior government representatives and will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relevant stakeholder relationships within the private sector and development partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Country Director, the Regional Director for the Caribbean, and a network of delivery experts across the Institute, the Advisor/Senior Advisor is expected to support the delivery of a coherent and impact-driven Delivery Unit offer for our client.
The Advisor/Senior Advisor will have the following accountabilities and responsibilities:

- Client relationship_- Assist the Country Director in building and maintaining a relationship of trust with the Prime Minister and other senior counterparts.- Identify key development priorities that TBI could be supporting, which place sustainable social and economic development at their core.- Hold operational accountability for the delivery of core workstreams.
- Team management and internal coordination_- Lead core workstreams, ensuring efficient project planning, effective task allocation, pertinent content development and follow-through.- Hold accountability for the quality, timeliness, and scope alignment of client-facing deliverables.- Develop high-quality research and analysis - with focus on developing actionable insights for TBI leadership.- Build a high-performing culture with a continued focus on learning and development.- Be an active member of the TBI Advisor/Senior Advisor cohort, building strong, collaborative relationships across TBI and actively champion TBI's values.- Recruit Associate(s) for future growth.
Person Specification- At least 4 years of experience in an implementation delivery function.
This could include management consulting background with experience in delivery ("PMO" type) or government administration, with a track record of effective project delivery.- An awareness of international relations trends, particularly related to the Caribbean countries and CARICOM.- A graduate degree in public policy, economics, or political science; under-graduate degrees and graduate degrees in other areas can be considered with relevant equivalent experience.- An ability to work independently, think strategically and produce deliverables with attention to detail.- Excellent interpersonal and presentational skills; able to quickly establish his or her credibility with stakeholders.- A proven ability to collaborate with others, including people from different backgrounds and cultures.-
- A proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for achieving social impact.- Prior experience working in a Delivery Unit or a Centre of Government highly preferred.- Business fluency in English is required.
