You will be a part of a design team named "IP Development Group", which focuses on critical and standard circuits common to all DRAM related memory products.In this role, you will be responsible for developing, designing, optimizing and verifying block-level circuits for all DRAM related projects at Micron. You will use both analog and digital CMOS design skills to work on various circuits, including I/O's, voltage regulators, generators, amplifiers, oscillators, pumps, translators, repair-related circuits, DLL and standard control logic.You will work closely with Micron's various design teams in US/Japan/India and other countries, leveraging vast resources available throughout Micron's global sites. Additionally, you will provide layout supervision and optimize layout throughout post-layout simulations, requiring strong communication skills.RequirementsTo be successful in this position, you will need:Analog IC design experience, including regulator, charge pump, oscillator, current reference, bandgap, and comparator design.Past circuit debug experience through Product Engineering or equivalent.Experience inside the memory industry, preferably in flash or DRAM.Proficiency in UNIX and CADENCE design environment (Simulation, Schematic entry, SPF extraction).Experience with circuit verification and optimization, including layout verification and parasitic extractions.Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to other design peers.The ability to work independently and in teams.Understanding of device physics and basic CMOS processing techniques.Experience with PERL or other scripting languages is a plus.Motivation and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.EducationA Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 10 years of experience, is required. 15+ years of experience is preferred.
