You will work as an analog designer at Micron Mexico Design Center, experience with mixed signal circuit design will be a plus.
You will be a part of a design team named "IP Development Group" which is targeting critical and standard circuits common to all DRAM related memory products.
In this position, you will be responsible for the development, design, optimization, verification, for block level circuits to all DRAM related projects at Micron.
Use of both analog and digital CMOS design skills needed to work on the various circuits you would be responsible for.
Also responsible for working with Product Engineering to verify silicon performance vs simulation performance of circuits you design.
Some of the circuits we target are I/O's, voltage regulators, generators, amplifiers, oscillators, pumps, translators, repair related circuits, DLL and standard control logic.
Will also work with Process integration and transistor modeling personnel in designing the circuits to be used on Micron's next leading edge process node.
You will work closely with Micron's various design teams in US/Japan/India and other countries and leverage vast resources available throughout Micron's global sites.
Additionally, you will provide layout supervision, as well as optimize layout throughout post-layout simulations.
So good communication skills are necessary.
Qualifications Successful candidates for this position will have: - Analog IC design such as Regulator, Charge Pump, Oscillator, Current reference, Bandgap, Comparator design experience is required.
- Past circuit debug experience through Product Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Experience inside memory industry of either flash or dram, a plus.
- Proficiency with UNIX and CADENCE design environment (Simulation, Schematic entry, SPF extraction) - Experience with circuit verification and optimization including layout verification and parasitic extractions of the circuits - Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to other design peers both verbally and written - The ability to work independently and in teams.
- Understanding of device physics and basic CMOS processing techniques preferred - Experience with PERL (or other scripting language), a plus.
- Highly motivated and self starter - Multi-tasking ability is a must for a IP DEV circuit designer as we work with all product types (compute, mobile, graphics, HBM) and product teams in parallel with silicon validation efforts.
Education MSEE + 5 or BSEE + 10 years' post graduate mixmode or analog circuit design experience.
15 + years' experience is preferred.
New Graduate College student is also welcomed.
