Our clients and team are based around the globe and demand for Cloud Managed Services is growing fast.Responsibilities:Direct communication with cloud clients using Calypso modules for their daily activities: Front Office, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Accounting...Investigate operational issues reported by Client's usersSuggest how to rectify an issue and how to prevent its reoccurrenceProvide advice relating to Client implementation of CalypsoFollowing approval, make changes to functional configuration of the systemCheck the execution (success, failures) of scheduled tasksMonitor the exceptions related to real-time interfaceAnalyse & identify the root cause of failures/exceptions and document the possible solutionsProactively look for ways to enhance customers usage of the applicationIn case of software defect, create helpdesk ticket including a test case that explains the issue; demonstrate the issue to Product Support team if neededOrganise for the deployment of a hotfix into a test environmentPerform pre-validation testing of hotfixes or config changes in Client's test environmentEssential skills/attributes:Master's degree in Finance (preferably), Mathematics, Business, Computer Science or I.T.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishKnowledge of a broad range of financial products (Fixed Income, Equity and Interest Rate Derivatives, Commodities, FX Spot and Forward, Corporate actions, Structured Products, Cash/Treasury, Futures and Options) including how they are priced, settled and managed during their lifecycle.P&L reporting, including attribution and key conceptsUnderstanding of Risk, Pricing, analytics Front and Back office reportingSettlement processing, book structure, accounting, trade lifecycle events, collateral management and related static dataAt least 3 years' experience in the capital markets sector (Business Analyst, Operations)Desirable skills/attributes:CFA, IMC or CISI qualified or other post graduate finance qualificationCalypso knowledge would be a strong advantage (you will receive Calypso training and will be expected to pass your Calypso certification)Other application knowledge e.G. Murex, Finastra (Summit, Kondor+), Aladdin, SimCorpProficiency using Bloomberg TerminalMarket data sources (e.G. Bloomberg SAPI, Data License)Knowledge of 3rd party systems e.G.
