World Class Manufacturing is a journey and it's our talented people who lead us on this journey.**Role Summary**:The Cyber Security Risk Analyst role is to assist and support the development of the security initiatives to protect Magna Corporate information assets, as they are stored, processed or transported by means of an IT system. They report to the Manager of Cyber Security Risk Management to support these corporate requirements. The Cyber Security Analyst function supports the planning, implementation and reporting of the enterprise Cyber Security functions against Cyber Security breaches and vulnerability issues. This individual supports the management and administration of the Cyber Security policies, related activities and standards. This position is part of the Magna Information Security Risk and Compliance (ISRC) team.**Key Responsibilities**:**Strategy & Planning**- Actively participate as a member of the Cyber Security, Risk and Compliance (ISRC) team in governance processes of the organization's Cyber Security strategies.- Support and active contribution to the Strategic Cyber Security plan to achieve business goals by assisting in the prioritizing of protect initiatives and through the evaluation and deployment of current and future security functions.- Assist in the communication and act as advocate of Cyber Security strategies and plans to the ISRC team, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.- Support the ISRC by keeping current on evolving IT security threats globally and regionally.- Contribute and assist a "culture of compliance" by supporting and contributing to Cyber Security awareness through workshops, presentations and direct interaction.- Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and communication of the Cyber Security policies and related standards incorporating metrics to enable measurement of effectiveness.- Support the ISRC team regarding changes in security policies and practices in accordance with changes in local or federal law.- Support the ISRC on corporate technology development to fully secure information, computer, network, and processing systems.- Support in finding resolution to security problems in a cost-effective manner.- Support in performing cost-benefit and return on investment (ROI) analyses for proposed changes to aid management in making implementation decisions
