We cater services to 3 main businesses namely Global Market, Securities Services and Private Bank.Our clients are spread across the Globe covering Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and North of Africa and Americas.ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage automation tools for enterprise reference data maintenance across various asset classes in the department (Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives & FX Business).Ensure that all work is delivered within agreed timeframes and meets the required high-quality standard.Deliver a high-quality customer-driven service that provides customers with a positive view of HSBC and meets their expectations in terms of accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.Understand and deliver excellent customer service. Process customer instructions accurately to achieve agreed quality standards and targets.Proactively suggest and design improvements in process workflows.Identify and escalate common fraud/errors/irregular transactions in accordance with procedures in a timely manner.Comply with all relevant policies and procedures issued by the Group.Be aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role.Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points.Acquire and update knowledge on procedures.ActivitiesEnsure that issues/problems are effectively investigated and resolved or are appropriately referred with recommendations.Respond quickly to urgent work demands and be flexible with work timings.Manage and evolve the automation tools/business rules of an ever-changing business.Acquire a good understanding of process and business applications.Prepare up-to-date reports & presentations for senior management meetings.RequirementsStakeholder Management experience.Excellent interpersonal skills.Attention to detail & high level of accuracy.Ability to work on own initiative.Excellent MS Office skills.Documentation governance including supporting all audit-related requirements.HSBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a culture where all employees are valued and respected.
