Join our winning team of Wave Makers and Go Getters and help us write the next chapter of SCJ history.About the role:To plan, implement, manage, and participate in the assigned Quality Control operations to:- Ensure the capacity and resources required so that products and processes comply with applicable standards, specifications, and regulations throughout the value chain: incoming inspection of raw materials and packaging, intermediates, and products.- Ensure processes quality is under control and keep improving.- Identify and participate in quality improvement projects.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Coordinate Inspection - Incoming materials (Packaging & Raw Materials), Intermediates and Products.- Identify and coordinate initiatives to improve the main losses due to Quality. Identify methods and technologies to improve quality and productivity.- Lead the management of blocked materials due to quality defects.- Ensure the control of chemical substances in the quality laboratory.- Coordinate training in aspects of Quality.- Directly lead and participate in the definition of product specific defects/AQLs.- Manage the Calibration Plan of the quality laboratories.- Control of production processes to ensure product within specification. Process validation including Cpk study. Use statistical techniques to develop and improve products and processes.- Implement quality control plans.- Develop and implement inspection plans.- KPI´s- Quality audits - ISO 9001 & GMP´sREQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING:- BS in Engineering, Chemical or appropriate field- Knowledge of applied statistics including process capability, sampling, and design of experiments- Familiar with and experienced in the process and technical management requirements of Quality Laboratory (Packaging, raw material, and microbiology).- Familiar with and experienced in basic quality tools, such as Control Plan, SPC, AQL, R&R, Sample Size & Confidence Interval, Problem Solving, audits.- Excellent oral & written communication skills- Computer skills including Excel and SAP- English: intermediate to advancedPREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS:- Quality system auditing experience: ISO 9001:2015 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GPM's)- Experience in Statistical Processes Control (SPC) and using MINITAB- Experience in Laboratory Standards, Physical-chemical analysis, packaging, and microbiology
