Eaton's PSD Power Systems Division division is currently seeking a Senior Analyst Supply Chain (temporary).
**What you'll do**:
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for planning and coordinating activities Purchases of materials for Inter-company and / or imported not Eaton suppliers and MRO purchasing. Responsible for resource planning purchased, based on forecasts of goods and sales forecast plans for electrical and mechanical components to support the market demand and to review progress of purchases on time or missing in assembly projects. Follow-ups and expedite according with timing of projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Reviewing MRP requirements and manual materials requested by the planning area and create supply programs with dates of arrival of materials according to the needs of the production system, in detail, to coordinate the activities of the auxiliary-materials shopping for that resource are obtained in time for the assembly of projects and standard products according to the OTR (on time request) client and review the OTP of purchase orders comply with the service level for areas productive.
- Review and coordinate the purchase requests, have sufficient and updated information for the suppliers to perform their process and meet the expectations of design, quality, cost and delivery times and meet the expectations of Eaton, as well as the end customer.
- Coordinate and / or place the purchases in a timely manner to meet the recommendations of MRP or priorities to mark the area of planning and communicating to affected areas, deviations and / or potential deviations that exist in any order and the possible involvement of delivery times for standard projects or products and also ensures have plans to reduce / eliminate these deviations.
- Review and coordinate the activities purchasing materials, placing the shopping flow in line with the recommendations of generating MRP, procurement priority reports focused on meeting the project delivery commitments and / or standard products.
- Coordinate Logistics with local and international carriers for Request for Quote activities and Collection of goods for Eaton plants world wide. and importation process into Mexico.
- Review the requirements and availability of materials in stock when so required, to give priority placement, expediting and arrival of materials, seek to optimize the use of materials within the plant. Proposing alternative uses to maintain a proper rotation of inventory.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Engineering from an accredited institution required.
- Minimum of 3 years prior procurement experience in electrical industry and manufacturing.
- English-Spanish (bilingual).
- Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic.
- Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving.
- Must have knowledge of SAP/R3, in modules QTC & PTP.
