.Summary of Position:Key Responsibilities:- Analyze support issues in interaction with functional team members and business analysts. Report delays and risks to team leads.- Supports existing and new interfaces and has good understanding of integration with 3rd party tools.- Collaborate with many teams including security, functional, development and operations support groups to efficiently and effectively deliver operational excellence. 3rd party teams are on-site, off-shore and in-house.-- Collaborates with other Alcon IT groups in order to solve technical issues. Establishes and monitors escalation of problems.-- Collaborate with Change and Release Management to ensure a stable operating environment during any transitions and changes.- Collaborate with Integration Management to ensure stable operating environment.- Ensure all processes are in compliance with Alcon's policies and procedures.- Ensure process adherence to the defined process.- Implement and support projects in time, quality, and budget.- Ensure proper governance and handovers of SAP Development project activities.Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree is required.- SAP Certification is preferred.- Expert level knowledge and hands on experience of SAP functionality, integration and implementation methodology using technologies including, but not limited to: SAP ABAP, HANA, Fiori/UI5 and OData/REST APIs.- Desirable:- Worked in Large SAP ERP rollout programs-- Has worked in global service delivery organizations and has experience with dealing with offshore partners.-- Understanding of GxP and SOX compliance.- TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS- At least 3-5 years of technical design and implementation experience in SAP in a Global company- At least 3 years of experience in ABAP development.- At least 2 years of experience in PI development.- Extensive experience in ABAP, Object Oriented ABAP, Enhancement Spots, BADIs, User Exits, ADOBE Forms and Smartforms.- Experience in Web IDE, HANA Views and ABAP CDS Views.- Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of SAP modules including but not limited to: SAP SD, FI, SCM, PP, SRM, CRM, S/4HANA.- Excellent working knowledge of ITIL/ITSM service management practices, specifically incident management, change management and problem management.- Some level of knowledge of SAP Data Archiving.- Capability to think strategically.- Demonstrate a stand-up mentality, take the initiative and drive projects forward.Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM ISTRelocation assistance: YesIf you have encountered a job posting or been approached with a job offer that you suspect may be fraudulent, we strongly recommend you do not respond, send money or personal information, and check our website for current job openings.ATTENTION: Current Alcon Employee/Contingent Worker- Find Jobs for Employees- Find Jobs for Contingent WorkerAlcon is an Equal Opportunity Employer and takes pride in maintaining a diverse environment
