The ideal candidate is a pro-active, analytical individual with first-hand experience in the high-end hospitality segment. The position is based in Mexico City.What the job involvesOversee and control private capital and assets through strategic asset management initiatives that improve property values emphasizing the protection and optimization of portfolio value.Use financial data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to increase profitability and reduce costs.Coordinate and plan the execution of CAPEX plans, control construction budgets, and monitor physical and financial progress of projects.Analyze and create reports of the progress of financial and operational KPIs.Conduct market and trend research to develop strategies that increase the value of assets.Assist operating management teams and asset management colleagues with other corporate development transactions as required, including financing, acquisitions, sales forecasting, and strategic planning.Track and improve strategies for financial agreements concerning the debt of the assets and the holding company.Monitor the monthly, quarterly, and annually financial goals and elaborate reports for committees and investors.Participate in operational tasks and follow up with the executive committees of each hotel or company in the portfolio to guarantee the successful execution of strategies.Maintain documentary control of all assets through the purchase, development, stabilization, and sale process.Who we are looking forSolid years of relevant business experience including work with an established hotel management company or real estate/hospitality private equity, advisory or finance company. Asset management-specific experience is highly valued.Capable to multi-task and be nimble, with strong attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.Solid analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.Ability to establish priorities in a fast-paced, fluid work environment.Resilient and able to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations.Self-driven and process-oriented.Strong interpersonal skills.Bachelor's degree in finance, administration, engineering or a related field.Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.#J-18808-Ljbffr
