This position presents an exceptional chance to make a significant impact and broaden professional expertise in a challenging setting. The position will be based in Mexico City. The attorney will report to the Sr. Counsel, Legal, Mexico.ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements in English and Spanish, such as client incentives agreements, advertising and promotion agreements, sponsorship agreements, technology agreements, vendor agreements, and confidentiality agreements, with a particular focus on consultancy agreements for the Visa Consulting and Analytics team.Leverage AI tools to create templates and optimize processes to expedite agreement drafting, negotiation, and execution, thereby improving time to market. This also includes developing templates/standard documents or adapting U.S. documents to local requirements.Coordinate and supervise outside counsel on corporate matters for timeliness, cost-effectiveness, and excellence of service and work product. This includes requesting and approving shareholder minute meetings and coordinating their execution as required to comply with local law and meet business needs.Develop and execute trainings on relevant legal topics to internal clients for promoting a more efficient cross functional collaboration.Expertise in relevant areas of the law, including commercial, intellectual property, privacy, antibribery, employment and payments regulations.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
