About the Role
We are looking for a talented and creative individual who is passionate about architecting, integrating
and deploying scalable cloud software services. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in helping
to build our cloud solution platform!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Architect, scale and migrate databases, data warehouse, and data lakes
- Evaluate the trade-offs of different solutions to maximize performance and time-to-market
- Work closely with AWS Cloud Services: S3, IAM, EC2, IoT Core, Fargate
- Work with IaC and deployment tools: Pulumi, Terraform
- Work with data visualization tools such as Grafana
- Create reliable, secure, and scalable APIs
- Work with end-users to determine requirements and provide written technical documents
- Deliver high-quality, well-written code that is easily supported and maintainable
- Build microservices, distributed and event-driven systems
- Build scalable data pipelines and integrate them with IoT devices
- Self-manage timelines and communicate progress to the rest of the team
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree with 8+ years of software development experience
- Deep understanding of the databases and APIs.
- Must have Python, SQL, API, and AWS experience.
- Experience with postgres and time-series data.
- Experience using Git, JIRA, Docker, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies
- Working with Git, and Continuous Integration (Jenkins) in an Agile development environment.
- Experience interfacing with IoT cloud-based devices
- Writing excellent quality code that's testable and well documented
- Ability to work as a team and communicate clearly in technical discussions.
- Experience with Fleet Management: MQTT protocol, remote interfacing and OTAs
